AGES/GRADES: Males ages 11-19. Special education certified middle school and high school.

THERAPEUTIC SERVICES:  Comprehensive and holistic assessment report with completion of between 6-10 psychological assessments. Behavioral stabilization. Individual and group counseling. Therapeutic recreations.

THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: Cognitive behavioral and dialectic behavioral for individual and group therapy; vocational and experiential education philosophy. Adult and independent living. Attachment regulation and competency (ARC) trauma-informed and EMDR.

POPULATION SERVED: Variety of emotional, behavioral, academic  and psychiatric issues including but not limited to: conduct disorder, ODD, referrals with history of sexually inappropriate behaviors, fire setting, PDD, PTSD, and anxiety and depressive symptoms.

LICENSURE: Licensed by NH Dept. of Education with special education approval and general non-public private school. Human Services licensed by the NH Dept. of Health and MA Chapter 766 approved. Licensed by Departments of Education, Health and Human Services, and Mental Health, in both VT and MA.

 

Vermont Permanency Initiative BHC

AGES/GRADES: Males ages 10-21 in graded 7 day per week, 12 month per year program; summer program also available.

THERAPEUTIC SERVICES:  Individual, family, and group therapy; adventure based counseling, special education services offered on site; consulting psychiatrist on site weekly. Additional assessments and evaluations available through referral to community mental health agencies. Trauma based services and risk/functional assessment.

THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: Cognitive behavioral/dialectic behavioral/trauma informed care for individual and group therapy; vocational and experiential education philosophy. Adventure therapy, yoga, equine programming, adult living.

POPULATION SERVED: Variety of emotional, behavioral, academic  and psychiatric issues including but not limited to: conduct disorder, ODD, referrals with history of complex trauma and attachment disruptions, fire setting, and high risk behavioral presentation.

THERAPEUTIC SERVICES:  Individual and group therapy in a low stimulation setting. Special education services offered on site; consulting psychiatrist on site weekly. Additional assessments and evaluations available  dependent upon need. Trauma based services including mindfulness practices and yoga.

THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: EMDR, reality therapy, CBT/DBT, and psychoeducation of diagnosis. Cognitive behavioral for individual and group therapy; vocational and experiential education philosophy. Adventure therapy, adult living.

POPULATION SERVED: Variety of emotional, behavioral, academic  and psychiatric issues including but not limited to: conduct disorder, ODD, disruptive behavior disorder, domestic violence, trauma issues, substance abuse, fire setting, PTSD, PDD, PTSD, and autism.
